2. Eligibility

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration

3. Services Description

AssureShift is a platform that connects customers with verified packers and movers for relocation services. We provide:

• A platform to request and compare moving quotes
• Access to verified and trusted moving service providers
• Customer support and assistance throughout the moving process
• Tools and resources for planning your relocation

Important: AssureShift acts as an intermediary platform. The actual moving services are provided by independent third-party service providers. We do not directly provide packing, moving, or transportation services.

4. User Accounts

4.1 Account Creation

When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4.2 Account Security

• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• You are responsible for all activities conducted through your account
• We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized account access
• You must not share your account credentials with others

4.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason we deem necessary to protect our platform and users.

5. Booking and Payment

5.1 Service Booking

• All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation
• You must provide accurate information about your moving requirements
• Quotes provided are estimates and may vary based on actual requirements
• Final pricing is determined by the service provider based on actual inventory and services

5.2 Payment Terms

• Payment terms are established between you and the service provider
• Platform fees (if applicable) are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
• All payments must be made through authorized payment methods
• You are responsible for any applicable taxes and fees

5.3 Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation policies vary by service provider. Please review the specific cancellation terms before booking. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the service provider's policy and may take 7-14 business days.

6. User Responsibilities

As a user of AssureShift, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Use the platform only for lawful purposes
• Not engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices
• Not interfere with the proper functioning of the platform
• Respect the intellectual property rights of AssureShift and others
• Not upload or transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Treat service providers and other users with respect

7. Service Provider Relationship

AssureShift acts as a platform connecting customers with independent service providers. We do not employ or control these service providers. The contractual relationship for moving services is directly between you and the service provider.

• Service providers are independent contractors, not employees of AssureShift
• We verify service providers but do not guarantee their performance
• Disputes regarding services should be resolved directly with the service provider
• We may assist in dispute resolution but are not obligated to do so

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Platform Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AssureShift shall not be liable for:

• Any damages to your belongings during packing, moving, or transportation
• Delays, cancellations, or failures by service providers
• Loss of data or interruption of service
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Actions or omissions of third-party service providers

8.2 Maximum Liability

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of AssureShift shall not exceed the amount of fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹10,000, whichever is less.

8.3 Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing insurance for your belongings. Insurance coverage, if available, is provided by the service provider or third-party insurance companies, not by AssureShift.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the AssureShift platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design, is the property of AssureShift or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

• You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without permission
• The AssureShift name and logo are registered trademarks
• You retain ownership of content you submit but grant us a license to use it
• We may use your feedback and suggestions without compensation

10. Prohibited Activities

You are expressly prohibited from:

• Using the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Scraping, data mining, or harvesting data from the platform
• Impersonating another person or entity
• Posting false, misleading, or defamatory content
• Interfering with other users' use of the platform
• Circumventing security features or access controls
• Using automated systems or bots without authorization

11. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, or completeness of information
• Warranties that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Warranties regarding the quality of services provided by third parties

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AssureShift, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use or misuse of the platform
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of third parties
• Your interactions with service providers

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Informal Resolution

Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to contact us to attempt to resolve any disputes informally. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes amicably.

13.2 Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be conducted in English and the seat of arbitration shall be in India.

13.3 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

15. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including:

• Breach of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• At your request
• For any other reason at our sole discretion

Upon termination, your right to use the platform will cease immediately. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by us on the platform, constitute the entire agreement between you and AssureShift concerning your use of the platform and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
